An auxiliary gauge cluster for Android, fed by an ELM327 adapter.
A car's factory dash shows speed, revs and fuel. OBD Dash shows what it leaves out: coolant
temperature as an actual reading rather than a warning light, battery voltage, engine load,
and the diagnostic trouble codes behind a check-engine lamp.
What it does
Reads generic OBD-II (SAE J1979) data over a classic-Bluetooth ELM327 adapter.
Draws gauges sized to be read at a glance, on one panel in a choice of themes, and
raises an alert when a reading leaves its healthy band.
Can show the phone's own satellite speed beside the car's, as a second needle.
Records each ignition cycle as a trip โ distance, fuel, economy, cost, battery trend โ for
each of your cars, and keeps the history on the phone.
Reads stored fault codes and freeze-frame data, can clear them, and says whether the car's
emissions self-tests are ready for an inspection.
Runs unattended if you let it: connects when the car starts, wakes the screen, and puts the
adapter to sleep when you park.
